The 2007-08 Southwestern
Pennsylvania Wrestling Recap Book
will be available by the end of May. Orders

The book, compiled by wrestling writer and historian Ken “Stats” Wunderley, will be 90 pages. It completely recaps the 2007-08 wrestling season.
The book has separate sections for Class AAA and Class AA. Each section includes team-by-team and weight class-by-weight class breakdowns that include season and career totals for every wrestler who appeared in five or more varsity matches from the WPIAL’s 82 high schools. The Pittsburgh City League and Kiski School will also be included for the first time. A total of 1,350 wrestlers are listed.
Another feature is a breakdown of the top seniors, top juniors, top sophomores, and top freshmen in each classification, and two stories recapping the PIAA Tournament.
Also included are standings, WPIAL and PIAA team tournament results, and championship and consolation results from the section, district, region, and state tournaments.
The book is only $22, plus a $1 charge for shipping and handling.

The CD, also compiled by wrestling writer and historian Ken “Stats” Wunderley, is divided into four parts that recap the 2007-08 wrestling season.
* Regular season bout sheets from 1,650 wresters in the WPIAL and City League. The bout sheets, saved in .pdf form, include all regular season bouts of any wrestler who appeared in at least one varsity match.
* Results from 48 regular season tournaments and dual tournament in which WPIAL and City League teams appeared.
* Full bracket sheets, in .pdf form, of all postseason tournaments ---- all 8 section tournaments, both WPIAL tourneys, all 9 region tournaments, both PIAA tourneys, and the National Prep Tournament.
* A total 175 wrestling stories written by Tri-State Sports & News Service writers that appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette from June 1, 2007 until April 30, 2008. Ken “Stats” Wunderley wrote most of the stories. Also contributing were: Chris Adamski and David Assad.
The CD-Rom is only $11 plus a $1 charge for shipping and handling.
